Sherri Horne
Sherri Horne is a REALTOR® and Sales Associate for United Real Estate Gallery Realty. She activated her licensed in 2006 and is currently a member of NEFAR, (North East Florida Association of REALTORS), NAR, (National Association of REALTORS and the MLS, (Multiple Listing Service).
She has renovated multiple homes in the Jacksonville area. She is currently restoring and living in a Circa 1910 late Queen Anne in Historic 5 Points with her husband Bentley and their three children, who make the third generation of their family to be born in Riverside. She worked in the early 90’s with Riverside Avondale Preservation, (RAP) on the Home Tour Committee and was privileged for her home to be on the tour twice as The Restoration House. She also worked with RAP and the City of Jacksonville to designate Riverside’s first City Historic Designation, The St. John’s Quarter, along with a home that her family was renovating. She continued helping RAP until all of Riverside and Avondale received their current City Historic District Designation. All of these efforts were to help revitalize and protect Riverside and Avondale from being torn down or altered in a way that harms the historic integrity of this great neighborhood.
She worked with the clean up Jacksonville campaign in Riverside; she helped to restore the Riverside Park’s duck pond, and pushed for the city to replace the playground that had been removed from Riverside Park.
In 2002, while going to Real Estate school to obtain her license she was doing research for an appraiser. This appraisal background gave her experience in the extremely important skill of home pricing. Sherri believes that in today’s housing market a Realtor must be honest and accurate about the true value of a seller’s home. Based on this valued premise, potential buyers and sellers should not be let down with the experience of Sherri Horne or United Real Estate Gallery.
