Rod believes that education is paramount to success and has completed intensive training covering a variety of topics from marketing listings for quick sale to negotiating contracts and helping sellers in danger of foreclosure. Rod is a graduate of Florida State University, Tallahassee, Florida, with a bachelor’s degree in Communications. He has also studied at Florida A&M University, Tallahassee, Florida and Tennessee State University, Nashville, Tennessee.

A first class education combined with many years of learning in the field has served Rod well and has earned him many awards. Rod has been recognized as one of the top producing sales agent in Exit Real Estate Gallery. He also has been recognized as one of the top listing agent in Exit Real Estate Gallery.
Rod is a member in good standing of the North East Florida Association of REALTORS® (NEFAR), Florida Association of REALTORS® (FAR), and the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) in addition to the North East Florida Multiple Listing Service (NEFLMLS). Also, he is member of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.

Rod has served the community in the past as founder of the “Sisters Wit’ Game” Basketball Program. He was recognized by U.S.A. Basketball, the governing body for basketball in the United States, as one of the top amateur athletics coach for girls’ basketball. He volunteered as a coach for the Jacksonville Police Athletic League, the Boys and Girls Club, and North Jacksonville Football Association.
Having lived in many parts of the United States such as St. Louis, Missouri, Waco, Texas, Syracuse, New York, Nashville, Tennessee, and various cities in Florida, he has a strong ability to relate to and communicate with people from diverse backgrounds and understands the need and concerns of clients who are relocating. He loves working with people and is considered a friend to many.
