PERSONAL EXPERIENCE.
Lafayette was first licensed in real estate in North Carolina in 2006, then Florida in 2016. She personally purchased four new construction homes with four luxury builders in three states, current residence included. She sold multiple primary residences in multiple cities as she relocated to six different states. She is a United States Marine Corps (USMC) veteran and was an active-duty spouse with over 20 years as a USMC military spouse. She is the mother of two military kids, a son and daughter, now adults. She is now the widow of a PACT Act veteran.

As a National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC), she is an experienced entrepreneur and former Wellness Practitioner. Additionally, she is a federal government defense accountant with a career spanning 26 years and counting down to retirement. She earned a Master of Business Administration in Accounting and a Bachelor of Science in Finance in addition to becoming Certified Defense Financial Manager with Acquisition Specialty (CDFM-A).
